rofl It was late. (for me anyways) And sometimes my fingers are faster than my brain. I actually woke up in the middle of the night and realized it should have been "sling" not fling.
You know I'm going to hold you to that last part.
First, I have know idea if it would work, But I would bet you would have some sort of oiling problems. I believe most gear cases are designed to "fling" oil when spinning. I dont know if thats the case with this case.
Good question, got my curiousity up, if for no other reason than "what if"
A well built headache rack would help in a slow sideways flop, such as the type Gimp is know for. If there is any forward (or backwards if the truck got spun before rolling) motion a headache rack is not going to do much but just fold over. What ever you would build would need to have some sort...
If its soft enough and slimey enough, lockers wont do any better.
Edit: your comparing apples to walnuts with that. Those are two TOTALLY different trucks. Christ why dont you just put tracks under your truck if your going to compare those. **** I can buy a helo that will never get stuck in...
How many of them have a military as big as ours?
Hate to bring it up (not really) but I believe the Germans lost because they were simply out numbered. Build simple stuff, and alot of it.
You can pm "cavemantrucks" and see if he can give you any specifics you need. I looked thru his threads and didnt see a build thread on this specific truck but he does have a few other build threads on similar trucks.
Ummm you dont know how it works so you just cut the end off and stuck it to the battery?
The only way I can help you is to start searching and googling "vic-3"
:ditto: If it were a "flaw" it would have been fixed in the first years of production. The designers knew what they were going for and who would be using the trucks, young, inexperienced drivers. The designers came from the old school way of designing stuff, the K.I.S.S. way of doing things...
What thread did you pull it out from? Looks like a cavemantrucks truck. I know he put the visors (sp?) on his trucks.
Edit: yep, cavemantrucks, http://www.steelsoldiers.com/members/cavemantrucks-albums-cavemantrucks.html
Started a quik paint job on mine.
All of you that say tear it down, clean and lube it are forgetting one thing, Its 600 miles away from where he lives. (on his hunting property) I doubt, (but I could be wrong) he has the place and time to spend that far from home doing all that work, or he has to get it shipped back home to do...
Did you guys not see that part?
Clinto, I was going to suggest that you close this thread right after your post but I didnt want to add to it or bump it back to the top. Guess that was a useless idea
Isnt this the thread where all the a2 owners are supposed to bad mouth the a3 and the a3 owners just say "aw, all you a2 owners are just jealous"? Or is that just "one" a3 owner that thinks we are all jealous.
