I have one thing to guess from afar. Did you ever look carefully at the feed line (rubber hose) at the fuel pump. Is your feed line touching the frame and does it have a small wear/tear in it where the fuel pump feed line may have rubbed thru or was cut by worn out motor mounts? Check carefully...
It appears to me that the nozzle itself is leaking. I do not see any fuel leaking at the hard line or the nut. I have a 30 mm Snap-On nozzle socket. It is special for the return line fittings. I could send you a used nozzle if you need one. Let me know.
I can check for you. The new eyelets have me confused. I think the one with the white stripe goes to the smaller stud and the other 2 go to the main + stud. Do you need me to go look?
Hey. Time to change the fuel tank. Get some sea foam and get at it. I think a big side saddle steel tank from a Mack would fit this application much better. Have a great day.
And if that truck is like any truck that left my shop. The bolt on parts are not even the ones that were on the truck when it came here. As anyone knows that was at my shop I have a couple rooms full of reworked sheet metal (doors, fenders, gates) Bumpers, brush guards. I do NOT like sanding the...
Wrong answer. One more guess and we go into overtime.
https://www.amazon.com/Stant-10076-Oil-Filler-Cap/dp/B000B8LKPA is the correct answer. and much less expensive then I was paying a few years back.

There you go. Good old Amazon. I have been buying everything there lately. I don't even have to leave the property anymore. Life is great.
If it were me. I know it ain't. I would change the rear main seal if it is leaking. It is nice weather now. If it lets loose in the next few months you will kick yourself in the behind. It takes a while to do. No more then 1 - 8 hour day if you do it right and clean and paint everything but...
You have my respect. You earned it. I pictured the oil cap that came on the CUCV. Same style that is. It was common on Diesel GM vehicles back in the 70-80's. Still available from Stant. Reference this thread. Thread: CUCV oil filler cap...
Take note the original ends do have ferrules. I have had success attaching new rubber oil lines to them with a good spring loaded clamp. I have used standard clamps also. I experimented with it and wrapped the lines in white paper towel and drove it a day. No Leaks. So I went and wrapped it with...
I am NOT so sure I would even pull that trailer empty from that frame flange mount you have there. That looks like an accident looking for a place to happen. Be careful. Without a headache rack mounted the next load of dirt may come right thru that tin can cab and still keep going. That design...
I just went thru this. I bought A C Delcos from the GM dealer they arrived. installed them. Good thing the engine was out. If not I would have had to leave the rear clamp and bracket off the engine. And once the engine was back in I still had bending to do to the lines to clear the shift...
I am impressed with your job. Great JOB. That is what it takes. Many men including myself at times are nothing more then parts replacers. It takes real skill and patience to see thru an issue and improvise and make it work. Anyone can keep throwing money at things in an attempt to make thing...
Still have this truck setting in my driveway. Found the brass in the bed. This was my truck and I sold it 4 years ago. It is back. The owner wants new rocker panels and it is getting rusty around the edges. That's why I sold it. I could not bear to watch it rust. Now look. I still have to watch...
I have been dragging behind on my M1008 project. I kicked it up a bit today and worked on the front bed wall. It was bulging at the bottom front. Years of use. I last painted this truck in 1996. Moving right along now. It keeps raining here and the grass is growing as fast as I can cut it and...
How about you show some pictures. The Power steering belt goes on first rear groove on crank pulley rear water pump pulley and rear groove on Power steering pump. Then the Gen 1 (drivers side) That goes bottom crank pulley second groove second groove on water pump to front groove Power steering...
