11.00, 9.00, 14.00 etc is the width across the tread, not the height. xx.5 (or .50) tires are usually shorter heightwise compared to xx.00 tire. Example- a 12.5-20 is roughly the same height as a 9.00-20, but has a wider tread.

When I first got the 813 my horn sounded like a mouse far.. well, let's just say it was real small and high pitched. I took it apart and cleaned it (pretty corroded inside), then adjusted it with the screw on the back until it sounded right, came out classic military and quite manly. Same horn...
Wow Dave, now that is a VERY sweet ride! Looks to be in great shape, I'm impressed...
 again
I have a buddy who has some contacts in the Philipines, which is where quite a few of those went. It's a long shot, but I'll see if he can dig anything up.
Cheers
Edit- Oops! :oops...
Since it was prototyped for sale to the military, it can technically be an MV. Lots of MVs never made it past the prototype stage. The other neat thing is that it is yours, it can be whatever you want!
According to the limited info I have, the axles are the same as 800 series 5-tons.
Here is...
They do give a better turn of speed. Jeff's deuce ran like a stripe-tailed ape already, but with the 11.00s on I can't keep up with him in the 813. Used to be able to... :(
Cheers
A buddy of mine put them on his deuce last year and has had no problems at all. The truck is a bit easier to steer now too. They look very studley but keep that "classic Deuce" look.
Cheers
Cool, yet another V100 being brought back to life!! And an early dual side-window one at that. Looks like she took a beating on the range, but repairable. It pains me to think of these being used as targets.
Welcome to the site Derrick, keep us posted on your progress. More pictures!
Cheers
Yep, saw that one and wondered about the steering. I get a lot of tire scuffing just turning the 813 on pavement, that thing must have the turn radius of a barge.
Cheers
I was hoping to have some new pics by now, but work is not being kind to me. Work definitely gets in the way of my "OD Disease" therapy time! I'll post some soon.
I saw some pictures of your V coming off a trailer a while back, how is it coming along? I'd love to see the Scout too...
Thanks Dave, much appreciated.
Unfortunately won't be making it to Portland this time. Is your vehicle with the speaker the Scout in your signature line? Those are sweet vehicles too.
And thanks JimK for all the info and help you have given off line.
Cheers.
Sarge will be posting a full AAR in his own inimitable style. It will probably take him a day or two though.
As regards going to get him, that's just what friends do. I am lucky to count such a man as my friend. I know you guys would have done the same thing.
By the way, the bike does have...
Latest update- 0721 I pulled back up at the house. Recovery complete (Sarge and M1030) 2242 miles round trip. Other than a real close look at a tornado on the trip out (registered around 99987866994.2 on the pucker scale), no real entertainment to report. Details later after some rack time...
