It is interesting how insurance works. My vehicles are mine in my name. The insurance company wrote the policy as a commercial policy. In North Carolina that was the best way and best priced way to insure my stuff. Definitely worth asking your agent...

Welcome to the Outfit!
You need to be careful! The green disease spreads - pretty quickly. Next thing you know, you will have some sort of other green vehicle to drag that trailer around. And then maybe a wrecker to haul that truck around...
Happy to have you here and again, welcome to...

I have never swapped out the old REO 330 (Golden Comet) with the LS, but we swapped about 50 of them with in-line 300 Ford Industrial Six's in a place I worked many years ago.

Your VIN on the title and whatever insurance series of numbers need to be the same. There have been several articles here before where the two didn't match and insurance didn't want to pay because the vehicle wasn't insured. We all know it's BS, but insurance is already a scam. Don't make...

Welcome to the Outfit!
Now that you are part of the group, go ahead and download the Technical Manuals (TM's) for your truck. The "-10" is the owners manual where simple things like how to crank it the right way - without smoking your start box and glow plugs. There are other books that...

Dawn dish soap and a few inches of water in the bottom of a WetVac works amazingly well. AND letting it sit outside in the sun for a few days helps ensure that they are like a roach motel - where the bugs check in - but they don't check out.
A bee vac isnt the same as what you use to rescue...

Lots of folks have suggested you may have a fuel problem. I would almost swear to it myself. There has to be an air leak. Somewhere in the return line.

If you have the embossed letters on your tailgate - and a little time on your hands - paint the letters whatever color you have chosen. Several times. Don't be bashful... Three or four or five coats... Then paint the tailgate whatever color. Then let everything dry for a week or two. Then...

Welcome to the Outfit!
I have to agree with the guys... That seems like an awful good deal at $10k. Leaking fuel hoses is a regular thing for a truck that age. Especially one that sat outside in the heat for maybe a couple years. Time and hose and clamps should solve that problem but it...

So I went out in the shop. Got a pair of mine sitting in the screen room. Pictures attached. I purchased these when I left the company I worked for. We worked on the 5-Tons and Deuces at that place of business. Didn't really remember if they "were weighted" in pairs or not. So..... I...

Correct.
Then you need to consider that how high do you need to lift the truck... I may be "chicken" but I never raise the center part of the jack stand more than half way. If you need more height, the next step up is a 7-Ton stand. Makes a wider base and adds about 50% height.

Find yourself some shade.
Everything that will help you will "flash off" on hot metal.
Knowing that anything that will eat silicone will also EAT PAINT.
I would start with Acetone.
Pour some on your roof on the outside of the ring when it is cool, let it soak.
It won't be instant - and...

P2P isn't all that fancy,
Do you have the file ZIP?
Short version of the install is to put it into a "root" folder. C:\P2P or something like that. You want to run "nav.a6r" in a DOS box in Windows.
Does that help at all?
Do you need more info?

Welcome to the Outfit!
You have already found the Technical Manuals (TM's) and it sounds like you are already changing fluids and filters. Good for you for sure!
Fix us up with some pictures. Create a new thread under "Current Conflict". Something cool like "I lost to Navy" or something...

Happy Dog for Sure.
Happy Boys with their new Armor.
That seems most likely the kind I can afford :)
Yeah, and old dad might have some real fun if @chucky could send one of his sweeties over to help with the R&R on the 350.
Keep smiling. It makes people wonder what you are up to!
