24 Volt Battery Terminal Glowing During Start

Battery might be starting to go and/or your cables might be corroded under the rubber, causing Problems. Load test battery's to see if their still healthy. If cables are original, I recommend you replace them. Mine looked great on the outside. During a repair to replace a busted post clamp...

    Truck-Lite LED Headlights----Finally Ordered a set.

Funny thing... The MV truck I drive the most is the last one to receive the TL LEDs. It will also be nice to know the headlights will not be drawing nearly as much power. On the 5 tons it was like,"wow", on the difference they made. I'm hoping these will "wow" the same way. They should be...

    Truck-Lite LED Headlights----Finally Ordered a set.

    M101A3 Trailer Rim Size

Removing the drum from the Hub does not affect the parking brake. Adjusting the star wheel does, but the parking brakes are adjustable at the lever for this very reason. If I want to check brakes, it makes no sense to remove hub with drum. If I want to check bearings I still remove drum for...

There's a lot more rain for you today for sure! We are getting it again tonight and tomorrow. That is a lot of rot. I wouldn't be happy either. Guess its either that or forklift damage.

Pop the access/dust cover off the slot on the rear bottom of the backing plate. Then with a screwdriver, back off the brake adjustment. Drum then slides right off the hub once the screws are removed. Very easy When done, reverse steps Adjust brakes as desired.

    Rebuild sticker?

The 8.3L is a 200,000+ mile engine if properly maintained. Oil/Filter Changes are key. Allison should be close. Same with oil/filter changes. Some on SS have had engine issues. Most haven't. Usually it's from sitting and not being used for months, years in some cases. Others flat out run...
