Can't find in the TMs, (Just need to find the right one). I need to whack about 14 feet of bad cable off the end, and re-attach the Hook.
Instructions? TM # ?
Thanks
After leaving at 6 am and driving 3.5 hours, only to find the "New LDT and LDS" in a can were total junk, I thought I would run a few things past you guys.
1) When I see a Motor in Can (Shipping Crate) with no Clutch, I say it is a Pull Out Engine. T/F
2) Motor without Caps on the Turbo...
I need to get through to them about an order I placed, but hasn't shipped. It has been seven days, and I have to get the parts to make a Trail Ride.
Two "Contact Us" Emails, and no word.
Thanks.
Do you know if you HAVE to flip the Rear Hubs for the A3 Wheel - 15.5 combo? I'm planning to do the flip, but don't have the time right now.
I'm looking at the Pivot Cover on the Rear Spring, and it looks like I might get interference if I don't flip the hubs. (I AM going to, but I don't...
If Yes, what Bead-Lock Insert. If none, what Pressures have you been up to?
I got one of the Michelin Mil guys all cranked up on the MPT flange issue, and I'll looking for a little background history.
(I know people use all sorts of Drop Bead O.D. Wheels and such, I mean the ACTUAL A3...
Last Weekend I finally got around to removing the sides on my Box, and decided to leave the roof for the summer. I'll get a Vinyl Top one of these days, but for now it makes a great Tree Trimming Truck.
You can stand in the bed, under cover, and work. For higher stuff, up on the cab...
same Wheel Stud as the A2?
I show the TQ as 390 - 420 Lb-ft, for the Wheel-to-Hub Nuts, and 425 - 475 Lb-Ft for the Wheel Halves to each other.
Anyone Disagree?
Talking M35A3 here. Not A2.
Them finding the duece in the system?
They asked the original purchase price, (Uh... I didn't say $46K, for a 1971 truck. ) fumbled around, and came back with $172 for six months.
Now, I am in the Detroit area, and MI is No-Fault, but for over 35 that seems crazy high. (Clean record...
all m35's gone by 2010. ~9300 left. Of course, they are going to have to buy a lot of FMTV's for the ARNG, first.
Stretch-Goal, I'd say. Don't expect all of them in GL, though. Lots of A3's will go elsewhere.
Old 5 tons by 2020....
A3 wheels, specifically, on the M35a2. Would be using the XZL 395/85/20.
Although I would like to use an MPT tire, and tire made for a 11", it seems to be all the rage. That, and 14.5s or 365/80s are pretty hard to get a hold of.
Thanks. I'm starting to think the A3s are a bit of a pain...
If not, what? If nothing, how low of PSI can you go?
I got a few, w/ out the beadlocks. What is the going rate for the wheels these days, anyway?
Thanks,
Mark
