There was no fire, just the power inverter blew up. I think the generic 24-12 volt converter was the culprit.

Thats a good question.. Well we were using a power inverter but it had an accident right as the parade started. But we still won first place......Guess we got an A for effort!

Here are a few pics from a couple weeks ago. We won first place as best decorated vehicle, YAY.. My employees decorated the Deuce and rode through the Christmas parade.

Here is a pic when I started mine the other day at 14 degrees. I did put a battery charger on it to give it a little boost.

It was in low teens in for 3-4 days in WV last week. Mine started easy considering. I did use the manifold heater though. It did start up and die, had to give it a little throttle for a few seconds . Oil pressure come up pretty quick too.

It scares me that we will have more people into the MV hobby that truly don't care about its future. Thats all we need is a few hundred more mv's on the road with people who don't know the ups and downs of 40 year old nearly 10 ton all wheel drive trucks!

OK genrator will only run while the strart swicth is being engaged. As soon as I let off the switch to go to the run position it dies. I found a dead spot on the switch, So i jumped a hot wire from the battery to the fuel pump sylonoid and it fired up and run well. I think i need a new switch...
