    Are my tires mounted backwards?

Pretty soon I want to rotate the tires on my M35a3 and I was wondering if they're facing the right way?

    Broke my mirror

I broke my mirror bracket on my M35a3 yesterday when I was backing up. It got snagged on a tree:evil: and it broke the stud on the support where the spot mirror mounts (circled in red). Anyone know where I can find this part?

    M35a3 overcharging

My original alternator went out on my M35a3 due to bearing failure. Instead of spending over 500.00 for an oem one, I decided to install the AC Delco 27si series alternator using the bracket kit from tmamerica. The first 27si lasted about a week and started way overcharging. I figured I got a...

Gear oil leaking from the hollow stud. M35a3

I removed the CTIS components from each wheel today and there is gear oil leaking from the hollow stud on the forward rear axle, passenger side. I'm assuming it's a blown seal but I'm not sure where to start.

    What's this hose for?

Up underneath the dash of my M35a3. It looked lose so i moved it and two springs and a ball bearing fell out onto the floor. My low air buzzer and light was not working so I started looking for the problem and found this. The funny thing is the buzzer and light work now whether it's connected or...

    I bought my first Deuce!

I went to Gillette Wyoming yesterday and bought my first Deuce! Picked up a 1994 M35a3 with only 4800 miles for a very good price. It also came with a M105a3 trailer. The recovery went great and it ran excellent on the 260 mile journey home. I kept my speed at 45 MPH and the rpms at 2300 to...

Best way to hook up a 24 volt winch?

What is the best way to hook up a 24 volt winch to a M1009? I was going to use the slave port on the front (I bought a plug) but is there a better way? Can it be hooked up to both batteries some how?

    New wheels for my M1009

I want to purchase new wheels for my M1009 but all this talk about backspacing has me a little confused. I really like these. Will they fit with no issues? http://www.procompusa.com/prodDetail.aspx?partNo=PCW152-5883F&catID=11&subCat=209&ptID=100021&plID=101828

    manual hubs not locking

Had a local mechanic install new Warn Premium locking hubs on my M1009 the other day and when I lock the hubs with the truck stationary with all four wheels on the ground. The front driveshaft still spins. Any idea what he did wrong?

    Oil cooler bypass

My oil cooler lines are leaking on my M1009. Instead of replacing them I've thought about bypassing it. Is it as easy as removing the lines and plugging the holes in the block or do I have to plug the ports in the radiator too? Will I have oil pressure issues? I was doing a search and come...

I picked up this really nice M416 trailer down in Denver Colorado. The M1009 ran great on the 600 mile round trip.

    New Member and new M1009

New Member saying hello and thought I introduce my new steel soldier. Friday I went up to Sheridan and bought a 1984 CUCV M1009 Blazer. Pretty much complete with 11,400 original miles! It needs a little bit of work but it runs like a top. Anybody know what that plug looking thing is with the...
