TM9-8031-2 Power Train Body and Frame Manual for the M37

TM9-8031-2 Power Train Body and Frame Manual for the M37/M43/M42 etc series of trucks. This post is to replace the link to a manual in this thread that I posted back in 2015. Back then I wasn't able to upload it to the forum for some reason, so I just included a link in the hope someone else...

TB9-2855-7 Installation of Hard Top Closure M37/M42 series of trucks. Might be useful for someone trying to install a hard top on their truck.

TM9-8031-2 Power Train Body and Frame Manual for the M37

TM9-8031-2 Power Train Body and Frame Manual for the M37/M43/M42 etc series of trucks. I thought I had added this a while back, but it seems I forgot. I hope people find it useful. I have tried multiple times to try to add the PDF to this post through the "manage attachments" system, but it...

mechanical fuel pump removal on 6.2L

Just wanted to chime in on replacing the fuel pump on the CUCV..... Over 3.5 hours under/inside this truck to replace it. This just confirms to me that GM engineers (well engineers in general) are evil. Pump on ours was working fine, but it was leaking on the flange in the middle where the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I don't see it weighing that much empty. Mine has a camper setup inside (still not much extra weight) and the wrecker didn't seem to strain at all picking it up at full extension. Maybe 2000lbs empty I would guess. I would imagine that it is 5000lbs full of whatever gear was installed inside...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

She is getting a lot of maintenance and body work done, so the box was removed to make working on her a lot easier. Not sure if the box will go back on at this point. Lifting it off the frame was easy. Removing all the bolts holding it down that were coated by the military in undercoating...

Any restrictions on selling a m1009 to a guy up north in Canada?

Like C15TA stated, unless there is/was an EUC on the vehicle there are no problems.

    New Data Plate Source

He made some for us for our CDN M35 (MLVW) trucks. Since there are no NOS data plates out there for those trucks. Very nice guy. Very professional and great service. The price is also very good for what you get. Side by side with the original, they are pretty much identical. If we need more...

    802A Exhaust questions

This is on the MEP-002 but it will work on your 802A as well. I got the flapper at a farm supply store for like $8. Works well. Keeps the rain/critters out.

    Canadian "Pre-CUCV" Chevy

No. Just an add on for the CUCV since it is used for plowing (you can see the plow attached in the first pic). Just a basic set of 12v flood lights from Princess Auto (Canadian version of Harbor Freight). They turn on with a switch on the dash (so that they can be left on all the time if needed).

    Canadian "Pre-CUCV" Chevy

Finally got around to taking a few pictures of that slide-in for the cable layer. It is currently sitting in the M1008. We do not have the spool that originally comes with it. But one could easily be made if needed.

    wiring diagram for a 6115-00-999-5675 3kw generator

I found nothing online other than links to parts of that generator. 6115-00-999-5675 is the NSN (National Stock Number), not the TM (Technical Manual). Without the model number of the complete generator (It will start with MEP#####), you can't find the manual that has the schematics in it...
