I don't see it weighing that much empty. Mine has a camper setup inside (still not much extra weight) and the wrecker didn't seem to strain at all picking it up at full extension. Maybe 2000lbs empty I would guess. I would imagine that it is 5000lbs full of whatever gear was installed inside...

She is getting a lot of maintenance and body work done, so the box was removed to make working on her a lot easier. Not sure if the box will go back on at this point. Lifting it off the frame was easy. Removing all the bolts holding it down that were coated by the military in undercoating...

Like C15TA stated, unless there is/was an EUC on the vehicle there are no problems.

This is on the MEP-002 but it will work on your 802A as well. I got the flapper at a farm supply store for like $8. Works well. Keeps the rain/critters out.

No. Just an add on for the CUCV since it is used for plowing (you can see the plow attached in the first pic). Just a basic set of 12v flood lights from Princess Auto (Canadian version of Harbor Freight). They turn on with a switch on the dash (so that they can be left on all the time if needed).

Finally got around to taking a few pictures of that slide-in for the cable layer. It is currently sitting in the M1008. We do not have the spool that originally comes with it. But one could easily be made if needed.

I found nothing online other than links to parts of that generator. 6115-00-999-5675 is the NSN (National Stock Number), not the TM (Technical Manual). Without the model number of the complete generator (It will start with MEP#####), you can't find the manual that has the schematics in it...
