The same gasket fits all three canisters. Look up the gasket in the TM and plug the part number into your search engine.
There is also supposed to be a copper washer under the domed nut.
Perhaps if you look at the parts TM, it will be clearer to you.

Hot wiring is not figuring out the issue. You also have forgotten that the gen set is SUPPOSED to be able to shut off the engine when certain faults occur. Take for instance Low Oil Pressure. What happens when that fault pops up?

Who ever put a computer in a gen set had sand for brains. You should explain what and how you did it. The engine and Main gen are rock solid. The computer crap is the problem.
Could be a short in the S1. Get the S1 to work, or get a replacement. Then you can work the CB problem farther. Has someone "Fixed" the control panel? Is there wire burnt, replaced? Spliced? Any sign of other "creative" repair?
