If I had a one of these things, I would be doing it.

The same gasket fits all three canisters. Look up the gasket in the TM and plug the part number into your search engine. There is also supposed to be a copper washer under the domed nut. Perhaps if you look at the parts TM, it will be clearer to you.

Well, you could look in the Schematic or look the part number up. But Kurt has posted it several times in the forum. Part #: V68MA3B

I don't suppose any of you gents are keeping a list of Military part numbers/NSN's and civilian cross over part numbers? Just asking.

Some of the worlds best gasket material is the Good Old TM cover. Pull the back cover off, tap the seal out and put it back together.

The only schematics are in the TM's.

Who ever put a computer in a gen set had sand for brains. You should explain what and how you did it. The engine and Main gen are rock solid. The computer crap is the problem.

What do you mean "Start and then die?" Please explain it a bit more.

What fault lights are on before trying to start, and after it fails to start?

Could be a short in the S1. Get the S1 to work, or get a replacement. Then you can work the CB problem farther. Has someone "Fixed" the control panel? Is there wire burnt, replaced? Spliced? Any sign of other "creative" repair?
