Part of the "Underbody corrosion repair kit", I have installed a few of the kits and they are nice. Tough to find now, there is a vendor here selling M151 sheet metal, he may have or can make them.
Replaced my harmonic balancer on the M1010 today using the 2291 tool and the Keith_J method, was super slick. This inexpensive tool will remove and install it.
I have the frame rails NOS, they are both LH side but all you have to do is remove one bracket and flip it to make it work on the other side. $75 each delivered to Weare. I will be in row C booth 1/2.
The 12v fusible link can be bad and still show 12v, but as soon as a load is applied it will fail. There is just enough of a connection to show voltage but it won't carry any current. It may have been able to carry enough current after it cooled off. I would replace the main 12v link.
Make sure that you replace the "cap" back on the radio "power" connector where your power cable went over to the amp. If that protective cap is not installed on the 77 the radio won't work. If you are getting static on the amp but not the 77 stand alone, changing the module won't fix anything...

I had a mean green 12v for a 6.2 civvy suburban, it looked like a standard starter with a mean green sticker on it to me. I had the same results, it crapped out.
That connector is not a standard military radio type connector. I bet they had a "base use vhf/uhf" radio in there not a tactical radio. The only issue mount for the "cab" I have seen for a cucv is in the M1010 ambulance. A RT-524 or simialr would take up the entire floor leaving no room for...
