need help finding electrical connector for Deuce

Try searching eBay for an accessory NATO plug. The standard Nato plug is made for jumping off a dead battery and will carry 500 amps. However, they are now making them for accessory use only. They will not carry near the amperage but are a lot less expensive. You can get a new one for around...

    M816 on ice?

When I had drivers ed, they wouldn't let me take it in a 816. Also, most of them won't get up to 55mph anyway. But if you needed to go help someone out of a bad spot when there is ice on the road, it would be nice to get some advice from someone who has done it before.

My unit didn't even have a truck but I still put their number on my M816.

    M816 on ice?

Has anyone ever driven a M816 on Ice? I am wondering how it would behave. I think it would have enough traction to go, but how would it stop?

    1400s on 816

I haven't noticed any difference in power. About the only big difference is the top end speed, which is noticeably higher.

    Deuce Battery Box

Which one made the most noise? The best way to fix your box is to replace it with a plastic one.

Should I paint my trucks other than Military green?

I don't believe the paint color makes much difference to the average buyer. Most of what you see needs painting anyway, and painting over blue is just as easy as painting over green or camo. I know a lot of MV's have been painted red at some time.

    Field-expedient Deuce tire lift technique

With those small tires, just pick them up and throw them in. Now with a BIG tire it's a little different. The 1600's on HEMMT rims weigh around 450lbs. Now is when you use the crane on your M816.

    900A1/A2 vs. HEMTT Rims?

I have the HEMTT rims with 1600's. Great thing about them is that there is no rubbing issues with the front tires going full lock to lock without rubbing and no need to reverse the hubs.

    M35 dual wheel removal

I had thought about using my motorcycle jack. I'm glad to hear that it works.

#2 injector is leaking on A2 Multi Fuel

I've had problems with injector lines breaking and #2 seems to be the most prone to this condition. It will break down inside the fitting that connects to the injector.

    Need pto shaft for deuce

I have a used one for $50, but you have to come and get it. At $3.00 a gallon, I don't think it would be worth it.

    Steering Lash

I don't believe he specified ASTM or SAE bolts. For example: Nippon steel has produced a line of "Super high-strength bolts".

    Steering Lash

There are numerous bolts stronger than grade 8, but you probably won't find them at the local hardware store.

    Steering Lash

The instructions are in the 34-2. The only hard part was locating the adjusting screw. No, it is not the nut and screw on top of the unit. The adjusting screw is on the inside and pokes through the frame rail. It is just about even with the top screw, from front to back. However, if you lay...
