My 1028 (according to the previous owner) was used by the SC National Guard. A post run around for getting mail and what-not IIRC. Unfortunately, the previous owner had it repainted so theres no exterior markings on it anymore :(

:ditto: Plus the smell of the farm stores is awesome. I personally dropped a set of Optima yellow tops in and never looked back. Plus, I've heard of them lasting 7 or 8 years in CUCV's.

Just throw a selectable locker or limited slip in front (I believe there are selectable lockers that act like limited slips when not engaged. I know the new Dodge Power Wagons have something like this.) My 1028's hard enough to steer when not in 4wd, never mind a locker in front.
