Doghead, naw I wasn't planning on lengthening the frame i was gonna leave it short.
Steve, yes i would like to sell it or trade it for an axle with a 3.07 or 3.08 rear axle
I bought a Dodge tug last week from GL. It has a Dana 70 with 7.17 gears and a Detroit Locker. My question is: if I do an axle swap as long as the distance from spring mount to spring mount is the same, I can put any axle I want ex. a M1009 axle?
Well the original game plan is to get the 817 running and driving. I have not seen it in person since I bought and am just going off of what my dad has told me. The engine looks complete, the body has some cosmetic damage, and the interior needs seats and a light switch and it is missing the pto.
I have a 5 ton dump that I bought before I deployed. My dad says that he doesn't think that it will start and that I should part it out, but I am not giving up hope yet as I have not even seen it in person. But my question is: If I cannot get it to run could I take the dump bed and lift assembly...
The only thing that was 24V on the CUCV's was the starter and the junction blocks everything else was 12V. The DS alt charged the front batt and the PS alt. charged the front AND rear batt. By removing the DS alt and rewiring the batt. it allows you to use a 12V starter and the GEN 2 light still...
I am about to go across the pond tom. and my CUCV decided to take a dump on me. My Gen 2 light hasnt worked for about a week now and I need some quick help diagnosing it so that my dad can drive it back home for me. All of my guages work, and I put a new bulb in and pressed all around it, but...
I won a 5 ton dump truck at MCLB, Albany, GA last week and wanted to know if there was anybody near there that could tow it off base for me and store it till a weekend so that my dad could come get it for me?
I won an M915A1 and have an EUC awaiting approval in Battle Creek and would like to know if anyone will be able to move the truck off base until a weekend so that my dad can come pick it up for me? Thanks.
I was wondering if there are any SS located around Barstow that could recover a truck if won, or know of or have used any haulers to bring trucks to the east coast, and any idea what it would cost to ship a truck across country.
My dad purchased a deuce in Atlanta and is currently waiting for his EUC to be approved. I also purchased a Shop Van deuce in Fort Benning and am waiting for my EUC to be sent to Battle Creek and be approved, I have to go to cali for training in aug. and I would like to know if when the EUCs are...
I am posting this for my dad, he bought 7 trailers at Lejuene and finally got approved. I am currently stationed here and hope to help him move them off base, but we need somewhere that we can put them till he can get them all home. If there is anyone close by that has some space that we could...
Well my speedometer needle now spins around like a propeller which means time for a new speedometer. So the question for today is: Can I put an electric speedometer on it and do away with the mechanical cable?
If I was planning to buy a 5 ton tractor would I want one with or without a winch. If I was to go offroading is there any situation that I cant get out of w/o a winch? I know the winch has a cool factor and is handy for recovery of self or others but is it a necessity?
