She looks good. What's in the box under the bed behind the pioneer tool rack? I could use something like that.[thumbzup]

    LDS 427 worth rebuilding

I'd run your current LDT into the ground giving you time to fix up and keep the LDS for a later swap. No need to waste any miles left on either engine and a backup is always good to have.

    Hardtops and Heaters

Scoped out an M135 today, potential buy. The heater was missing but the retaining bracket under the dash was there.

    GL/DRMO Trickledown effect

It sounds like the gears are slowing alright. My question is what can we as a community/hobby do about it? As much as I'd like to hoot and holler to bring back the old DRMO days of bidding directly on site that isn't going to happen but picking up from units is a possibility. If the system is...

    Jurassic park themed deuce

Thanks! Well it's all up to personal taste. If anything the design isn't complicated: prep and primed with gray, red detailing with rustoleum, (if you wanted to go the extra mile) paint the undercarriage black. If you don't like it then re-prime the red areas and paint with a camo scheme of your...

    Jurassic park themed deuce

I've seen it and did it to a upgraded powerwheels jeep as a test model before doing a real jeep. Long story short, it's your deuce so have fun with it..also the door stickers pull it all together. Don't skimp on them.

    Problems with my Deuce

How..what..hmm.. The key sounds like an issue between you and the other party. If you bought it and don't have a key something smells fishy. If you bought it where is it and how did it get there without a key? If your signature is true; "I was 16 when i got a duece " then you should know how to...

    Fuel IP compensator

Yes, the engine can still run any type of fuel as designated on the dash with the FDC bypassed. So that yellow sticker is a sign of a rebuilt or later build engine. ..and yes, the search function is less than effective. I've had greater success using google to search SS: "steelsoldiers.com FDC...

    Doing a wheelie in a M-49 - A Recovery of a Deuce

I'd like to see a video of those tires spinning. I did the same thing with two m35a2s and it didn't like those fishbowl curves nor going up hill.

    Odd tire and wheel

Gimpy is correct. They are for bridge layer trucks. Source: I had 10 Deuce tires, you mean 9.00x20s? Are they NOS and have a rim?
