Be sure to use an organic vapor respirator when you use xyl ene reduced paint. You can add catalyst to your paint for faster curing. That needs the respirator also.
I would buy or rent a trailer for the mule. No sense risking damage to the truck or mule. If you have a place to store one, a trailer that can carry the mule isn't terribly expensive.
I suggest a set of 0.020 rings. You can try them and file the end gaps to suit. If they are way too large, sell them to someone. Not a large investment.
Just my opinion, the manual is old. I doubt if anyone would take offense. I have several old manuals i wouldn't throw out - I'm sure my children will when I pass.
