44,650 lb. GVWR
Big complicated vehicle chock full of potential, and some serious money to fix it too.
We paid about $225,000 for that truck, selling for less than 5% of that now. How much is it worth scrap? price right now?
Hey I'm just surprised that by now there is NOT a Sticky in here about glow plugs, removal tool, and electrical start systems.
The electrical diagram is available but won't upload.
Who knows how old the picture is
What the heck is in the back of whatever that truck is?

This is not far-fetched, just fetched.
With your engine is there any kind of exhaust gas recirculation thing at all?
A draft tube with a plugged filter or something like that?
On a Chevy gas engine the fumes and smell will drive you out of the car if the PCV valve is plugged because the...
Yeah, just drill the base. Use a lot of Kroil on the fasteners in the floor, been in there long time.
Don't break the fasteners. You are going to sit higher.
Horsepower. Sometimes raw power. How to measure power.
I remember Ronald Reagan Death Valley Days from when I was a kid.
They never showed this. They used 18 mules and 2 horses for 10 tons, what were they pulling with 40 mule?

Andrew for us was 19 daze without power too, as family moved in on me and I was forced onto seven twelves and then overtime. Yes I would like to have a diesel military generator too.
It is like my truck, I can't get anybody to fix it for me and I have little time to fix it up.
I can not have a...
Oh That!
I have another generator I bought after Andrew. It's output is a real nice 60Hz sinusoidal waveform output, a special machine for computers and such. The homes have dedicated circuits for things needing "the good wave", But my son needed a generator, Oh well.

WE would just want an MEP something or other but scared of all those wires and don't know how electricity works. We just want to keep the food, use some lights, assure the pool doesn't get ruined and wait out the outages. I just figured propane would be better, wife can turn the key to run it...
The photo shows it is, or was, just regular galvanized pipe. 3/4" taper per foot on the pipe threads. Put some Kroil on it, tap all around the fittings for a few days. Before attempting to animal it apart, try to tighten the fittings a degree or so, and put more Kroil (ATF/acetone) in the...
If you got it to the house new at 500 bucks you did good. These were $1200 or more + shipping from Amazon. Where I live one must have a backup power source, I paid $900 new for this one. I have lots of propane. Six to ten gallons of gasoline a day is no fun and I refuse to store it up.
Gee
"I was in a pinch in Korea once"
Maybe one would listen because that was before one was even born.
But, Whatever..........................
I would tend to listen to that in the post 27........................
