    MEP-831A Overvoltage

Got messing with it again finally. I adjusted the speed setting on the SLC100 and it brought it down to the correct voltage but not close enough where my inverter would connect. It was surging and acting funny too so I'll start with replacing it since that seems to be the problem.

    MEP-831A Overvoltage

I'm having an overvoltage issue on my MEP-831. Ive searched and haven't found anything about my specific problem. It is producing too much output. It will get up to 150v on the 120v circuit and it's dependent on engine RPM. The higher it revs the more volts it puts out. Could it be a voltage...

    M109A3 cab to van access

I did mine with one of the accordion seals. I took it on the road in High Rock Canyon, NV which was the worst road I've ever been on and it held up fine through all the flexing.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

This is the fourth one I've seen involved in a crash in the past few weeks and that's only the ones people posted. It appeared in each case to be the other drivers fault. Baffling how people can't see these things.

Aftermarket front axle inner seals / retainers?

I put those on both of my trucks and highly recommend them! After losing the seals three times I was about to say screw it you can leak then. Put these in and years later they're still dry.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Those are a great mod. I have them in both of my trucks. They make for a very good backup in the remote areas I take my trucks where cell phones don't stand a chance.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I drive mine in CA with no CDL. They are registered historic. A CDL for a completely non commercial vehicle? Give me a break.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Installed my overhead console. I used 1/8" aluminum for it and welded on some stand offs to screw the radios and fuse panel too. It's latched and hinged so I can swing it down to easily get to all the wiring. So far I have the 2 meter ham radio, CB radio and stereo. Also added a glove box since...

HF54 power steering for my M35A2

Great thread. This is also very high in my priority list on my 109. I've been researching this and searching for parts the past few weeks. I spend hundreds of miles at a time in the 109 followed by hours of offroading getting to camping spots and that manual steering with 395s on the technical...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I really don't see the big deal with split ring wheels. They aren't that dangerous or hard to do. People these days just can't handle much. In a lot of cases they're easier to do than single piece wheels. I've done many of them at work and on my trucks and if it's clean and locked in properly...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I flipped my 109 hubs in that time, but I've been in deuce hubs so much I could do them in my sleep. I also have all the tools and didn't have to clean the bearings and my brakes are good because I stay on top of that stuff. Four hours is kind of a best case scenario time.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Haha nice I posted that and totally forgot I did.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I can't remember or find the bill. Googled it last night and found a place that had them.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I beat the crap out of mine with a slide hammer and that wouldn't do it. Wound up putting in a piece of pipe from the other side and a few whacks with the hammer and out it came. Also ditched the crap stock seals with an upgraded "wobble" type seal after replacing the stock ones 3 times and they...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Looking good! Did mine recently too. The insulation makes a noticeable difference in noise.

MRAP tire and wheel with inner tube

That could work on a steel MRAP wheel if you can get the valve stem to fit the large bore opening. Finding and repairing the leak is the best way because with a tube if it goes flat for any reason you're pulling it apart and repairing the tube. I've done thousands of tires and if it's tubeless I...

Piston Rings Worn Out, Time for a Rebuild

This is disappointing as I have a set of those new pistons for an engine of mine.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I found those at Home Depot actually.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Installed the headliner. Put aluminum strips over the reinforcements I made to the pathetic soft metal of the roof which gave it a nice touch.

Deuce Brake Pedal Pressure with 395's

I have them on a 109 and it stops fine and it has thousands of pounds more weight with the tires with run flats and all the rv components.
