    Anyone have the cab heater randomly work/not work?

    I had the same problem with mine, the problem was the fan switch, it melted a contact. and the wire then came off the heater switch.I was able to solder a new wire directly to the switch, then ordered a new switch as a backup.

    Geared hub in progress.

    I used to use the red tacky grease, on my M35A2. but since I go through so much deep water, I went to the Chevron Black Perl Grease, for application I am using. the Red would not hold up for me. If you wont be driving in deep water the red will be fine.

    Mine will lock up the front drivers side wheel, when it is in the teens if I engage the parking brake, I disconnect the air supply line to that brake, The brake will release, then I reconnect the air line, but it will stick again after 3-4 pumps of the brake, solution only drive the truck above 32f

    I got it, I made my own, took the 3-7/8 socket cut it in half and welded a 4" piece of pipe in between the socket and the 3/4 square drive. even painted it black to match the factory paint.

    Does anyone know what size the bearing nut is? I need to get the right size so I can torque the bearings, also it would have to be a fairly deep socket to clear the front axle shaft.
