The brake "signal" is routed through the turn signal switch, so depending how it is designed, it will or will not override the turn signal(s).
Rory above is correct as far as the deuce goes and that is the way it should work anyway.

I have similar issues with tires for the 8x8, the best replacement seems to be "grader" type tires, mainly because of the 70% aspect ratio.
Speed rating may be a problem only when tire is loaded to the max. It's hard to find good answers to tire questions IMHO.

Note: The new switch will only work when the air pressure is up. The old one worked whenever the brake pedal was depressed (hydraulic).
Issue with the old switch may be the pressure rating, should be 3,000 psi minimum....
I have thought about having two Schrader valves per tire to speed up airing up or down. Just a more compact version of the dual air chuck set-up shown in an earlier post. The compressor can handle it. (Don't install a Schrader valve in the air feed, that would defeat the advantage) and, oh, nice...
Need to make a gender change on a cable received from Austin Weber and took the connector apart as shown here (compare verkstad's post above), a large socket and a 3 lb hammer.....

If you are referring to the low pressure fuel lines, here is the breakdown and NAPA should have all the parts including the plastic lines (ask for "air brake" tubing).
