Good job covering the basics Jon. Rust is a big problem for the multifuel engines (IP & FDC) in particular. You saw first hand some evidence of that when I visited you a couple of years ago.
I cut access openings to make it easy to clean behind the baffles inside the tank as shown in image...
TM 11-5830-340-30 contains all schematics and troubleshooting info you can use for the VIC-1 system.
The goldplated contacts on the C2298 units may be cleaned with a pencil eraser, otherwise it's best to have a few spares on hand for testing (swapping), they are a lot cheaper than what's...
Took the inside door panels off yesterday to see if the window action could be made to go a bit smoother.
Why aren't the slides and guides glistening from grease? Everything is bone dry and slightly rusty. No mention in the TMs about lubricating this mechanism.

Funny, I moved the truck around a little while ago and came in and read your message, which reminded me to drain those tanks......we need to get Gary Berg to make some decals to this effect.... I sure need to be reminded.

Hmmm..that's almost exactly 16 inches wide, just what the 8x8 needs, just a little taller with the 80% aspect ratio (the xm757 uses 70%). I'm interested if Joel isn't, don't know what has transpired. Will work tubeless on the 12" wheels, correct?
Edit: Got a pic of the actual marking on the...
