    Bobbed Wrecker concept

I'm in the mobile home buis, and our trucks have to be short. One of my contractors used a 9000 ford with 5 ton running gear, and a 750 holmes boom on a short bed. Its performance was amazing. I agree that longer is more powerful over-all, but you sure could get in more places with yours! I'm...

Do we have an official Bobbed Deuce picture thread? If not, here it is! Post em!

Not criticizing, just asking: On the explicit custom bobber with dual tandems; If he climbs a steep hill, will it run out of drive shaft slip on the rear drive shaft? That walking beam rear will drop WAY down....I'm asking because I really would consider building one. Maybe a long slip, and a...

    Cutting down a drop side

Clamp on a piece of angle iron as a guide, and use the plasma. I'd still keep the blades close by, as you really need some of it all.......nothing that cuts, fits in every place.....at least not for me! ha....

Spare frame to lift an M35

So, we wound up with a spare M-35 frame at my shop. I'd been looking at various ways to bob, and lift my M35 to run a M105 trailer bed and 16x20's. We thought it would work to stack the frames if they were attached properly. I didn't want to weld them together anywhere, as its need to flex under...

    Offroading Deuce

Man after my own heart. I run the broad river here in SC several times a summer. Its a low river with NASTY rock shelves. Have ripped everything that is in the low middle. This is when I fell in love with my m35.......when I figured out how hard to kill it really was. Now I've bobbed, lifted and...

    fail-proofing full hydro steering

I'm in the middle of building a deuce with 8-9 inches of lift, and I have a char-lyn valve and cylinder from a mud truck project. Rather than spend the money ($500.) on a steering valve that your steering shaft goes through, we're using sprockets on the steering shaft and char-lyn valve with...

    bob

Well, we all hate to see a rarity chopped, but they are ALL rare eventually. So, I say : If you can afford to buy it, it belongs to you. Enjoy YOUR truck however YOU like. respecting personal liberty is whats cool.
