    Cargo Cover question

Greetings from NE Orygun. A few years back I drove my '63 M35A1 on a 400 mile round trip. During the trip the strap hardware on the bow corners wore a hole through the brand new NOS canvas top in at least two places. Question regarding vinyl cover--when you folks are on the road, do you...

    Opinions sought on modification

My 1988 USAF truck doesn't have weapon rack. My truck came from GL-Ft. Lewis, and only modification from as-delivered in 1989 seems to be addition of a NATO slave socket. Question is, would it be a sin to add the dual rifle rack to this nearly original truck?

    Which Harbor Freight impact wrench?

I've see posts recently regarding Harbor Freight 1" impact wrenches that work well for lug nuts. I looked at their website and found two, so are you all using the $150 cheapo impact wrench or the $299 cheapo impact wrench? TIA. I may suggest to Santa that she find a stocking big enough to...

Boarding ladder--->PICS ADDED Welp, at the Vet's day parade last Saturday, I watched my three sixty-ish gravity challenged buddies, in full field gear of course, lumber up a folding aluminum ladder into the back of the deuce to ride in the parade. I'm also thinking I might offer other vets a...

My new deuce is a 1988. In order to get special intersest permanent plates in Oregon, I have to have a document signed by a club recognized by Oregon DMV. As one might imagine, nowhere on the DMV website, and nowhere in the Oregon Revised Statutes, can I find a list of said recognized clubs...

    LOW OIL PRESSURE SOLVED!!

:D Kudos, oh wisemen of the forum. I hooked up a Sunpro gauge, and sure enough, I had 64 psi at cold idle, not the 30 shown on the dash gauge. As some speculated, it's a 120 pound sender and 60 pound gauge. I put the 120 pound sender back in, and until I find a NOS 120 pound gauge to stick...

    Pre-oiler Pump?

Mentioned in another post. Is that a pump that loads all the empty places so you have immediate oil pressure when you start? If so, where can I get one, how hard is it to install, how much, etc? Thanks, fellas

    Gel batteries

The M35 I picked up last week came from Air National Guard with two auto type gel batteries. These two batteries from 1997, and crank the engine beautifully and hold a charge well. Are others having this kind of extended service life from gel batteries?

    Accidental M35

Thanks to Emmado for putting me onto this site. Accidently bought a truck from GL at Fort Lewis, WA back in July. I was finally able to bring it home yesterday. This truck, 88K221, is typical of the 88K series described elsewhere on this forum--hard cab, heater, drop side bed, extra labels...
