make sure the generator lights turn on when ignition is on (power on but engine not running)
you may have to give the engine a little rev to turn on the alternators. So if engine was started and not reved up a little

The tm says if idle time is less then 30 min let the engine run. I would just let the truck run. Starting and stopping would be way harder on the engine and starting / charging system.
One.... Are both axles off the ground? When you spin the drive shaft is the other tire spinning? Or if you have a hub unlocked it will spin the other axle.
Just slide the shaft back In there are no c clips on the front axle.

The 6.2 uses a nozzle injector that INSIDE the housing. They can be found at rock auto for $7.04 each.
you take the injector body and it unscrews and the spring, check ball and nozzle come out.
just place in the new nozzle and put the housing back together and poof... done.

well I have taken her to Haspin and off roaded it and when in low range she does GREAT!
On the road she is a tad doggie with 33" tires and 3.08 gears.
If I were going to do it again I would do 3.42's with 33" tires. But the truck drives and feels good at 65 MPH.

Injectors you can rebuild your self for about 70 bucks for all 8. if you can change a spark plug or replace a glow plug you can rebuild a injector.

Lost of dirty connections and some bad alternator parts.

The solenoid can be found for $6-$14 on ebay and all other military part sites.
It comes in to good service to replace the Glow Plugs and the solenoid every
other year one way or the other. Its 70 bucks in parts to insure you have a starting truck and
lessen the chance of taking out a control...
My last M1009 would start instantly even at -5* with out a block heater.
With a block heater you wont have a issue and will have heat right off that bat.
One thing I do is put my engine heaters on a timer. That way it is not sucking power all night long.
