i was looking at an auction vehicle that is tagged as repaired to SOW requirements and has a completely covered floor? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Is there a military floor covering/insulation kit for the a3?
How many people would be interested in new military wheel o-rings for $6 each plus flat rate shipping? I may make a deal to buy some if enough people are interested. I do not have any for sale, I am asking if anyone would be interested if I make a bulk purchase. If you are interested just reply...
After a couple hundred miles my air pressure buzzer would activate. The problem was this regulator mounted on the left front inner frame rail. After removing the protective aluminum cover i found the end of the plastic housing had broken off leaving a direct air opening. I simply replaced the...
I had Adam (ferroequinologist) pull my M35a3 off base and check it over. This past weekend we went down and picked it up. Two dead redtops and two rear flats were the only problems. I drove about 250 miles then stopped and suddenly my low air buzzer came on. i was able to drive it home as the...
It seems my M105a2 is not really suited to yard work, even with the side by side. I do need to flip the lunette as I have in the first one. It is also tiresome adding weight to the ranger bed to improve handling. Oh well.
Anyone know about how heavy a stripped cab without roof would be? How about the weight of a complete door? M35a2 is what I am referencing. i bought one from a ss member approx. 225 miles away and i need to know if I am going to need equipment to lift it.
I searched the site and found conflicting information on rated payload for the M105a2. I am posting pictures of the data plate that show the highway rating of 4500lbs. This trailer has apparently been rebuilt with a new body. Note that the new data plate does not indicate a highway rating.
I am looking at a duece with the dual braking system. Is this the same system used on the A3 duece? Are the parts available to repair or replace if the need arises? Is there any advantage over the standard system , other than safety?
My question to GL was (I am looking at ##event and ###lo, the desription lists a cracked head on the engine. I would like to know the source this information).
This was the reply.
(Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, Government Liquidation (GL) cannot respond to any request concerning the...
I wanted opinions on possible advantages to m35's made during the later contract years, I know so many parts on a vehicle can deteriorate simply from age. I also realize that the military has done a lot of refurbishments on their vehicles. I know some of you here must have experience with a wide...
Anyone had trouble paying for their wins with paypal? My payment was declined according to GL. I gave them my Visa debit card# over the phone, but I guess they didnt get a chance to run it friday evening. I thought the paypal would have just came out of my checking account (I also have a backup...
Looked at a deuce today with a nice complete functional winch with chain and cable. If I buy this one (I am looking at others as well), how much could I reasonably expect to sell the complete winch setup for? I mean everything associated including inside controls. Not the high dollar wait five...
How big a job is replacing a cracked head on a hercules multifuel? Any special tools required? Common pitfalls? Time wise for an above average mechanic?
It seems that TN. has no registration requirements for utility trailers (IE;M105). I would assume then that I can save some cash by NOT getting the SF97's from GL on the 2 trailers I won today? Any opinions?
I was high bidder today on a auction. Description says 2 M105a2's, picture are 1 M105 a2 and a M101. I can see the auction numbers on the M105 but cannot be certain about the numbers on the possible M101. Should I try to have someone give them a post purchase inspection? I am a 1st time GL buyer
